FOUNDATION WATERPROOFING

Foundations and basement walls in the Cowlitz County area fail all the time.  They will show signs of cracking, bowing or just simply let water and moisture inside your home.  This happens for a couple of reasons.  First, the water in the soil around your home creates hydrostatic pressure, which is exerted against your foundation wall or basement floor.  Next, your basement wall probably has formed small cracks over the years, especially in older homes.  The hydrostatic pressure forces water through the cracks, or worse, pushes the foundation walls inward, creating major structural problems.

The foundation of your home is the most important structural component of any house and if that fails, it can be a very big problem.  Fortunately, these issues can be fixed, but the longer you wait, the bigger the problem.

At Advanced Waterproofing this is the type of project that we specialize in.  We have repaired, sealed and reinforced hundreds of basement walls and foundations in the Cowlitz County area.

Typically, this will involve excavating around the perimeter of the home and applying sealants to prevent hydrostatic pressure from finding any entry points.  It may also include various exterior drainage measure like french drains or sump pumps to move water away from the home.

Regardless of what your home needs to keep your basement foundations safe, we can provide a solution for you.  Please give us a call or book a free consultation online and we would be happy to help!
